When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. During your use of the app, we also collect study activity data including answers submitted, scores, progress, achievements, and leaderboard standings. This information is used solely to operate the app and provide you with a personalized study experience.

OceanQuest SAT is designed for students, including users under 18 years old. We collect only the minimum personal information necessary to operate the app. We do not knowingly collect any data beyond what is described in this policy.
Parents or guardians who wish to review, update, or delete their student's data may contact us at joshua@shellbackseo.com. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.
Your display name appears publicly on the leaderboard. We strongly recommend that you do not use your real full name as your display name. Choose a username or nickname instead to protect your privacy.
The web version of OceanQuest SAT (at oceanquest.app) is free forever, and we collect no payment information from you on the web — there are no purchases, subscriptions, or in-app payments of any kind. The iPhone and iPad version, OceanQuest SAT Pro, is a paid app purchased as a one-time transaction through Apple's App Store; that purchase is processed by Apple, and we do not collect or store your Apple payment details.
Study reminder emails and weekly parent/guardian progress report emails are strictly opt-in. We only send them after you explicitly enable them in Settings. Parent reports additionally require a parent/guardian email address and your consent. We never send these emails unless you have opted in, and you can disable them at any time in Settings or via the one-click unsubscribe link included in every email.
OceanQuest SAT is built on Base44, a platform provided by Wix. Base44 provides hosting, authentication, and database infrastructure for this app. Your data is stored and processed through Base44's platform in accordance with their data practices. For more information, visit wix.com/about/privacy.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. To request account deletion or removal of your personal data, email us at joshua@shellbackseo.com. We will process deletion requests promptly.
