1. Acceptance of Terms

By using OceanQuest SAT, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Free Web Version & Paid App Store Version

The web version of OceanQuest SAT (at oceanquest.app) is free forever. We do not collect any payment, subscription, or in-app purchase on the web — there are no hint or skip purchases and no prices of any kind. Hints and skips are earned only through daily resets, streaks, and daily challenge bonuses.

The iPhone and iPad version, OceanQuest SAT Pro, is a paid app purchased as a one-time transaction through Apple's App Store. That purchase is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own terms; we do not collect or process that payment, and we collect no in-app payments from you. The App Store purchase unlocks all Pro tools — step-by-step walkthroughs, daily drills, flashcards, and Dream Schools.

3. Personal, Non-Commercial Use

OceanQuest SAT is provided for your personal, non-commercial study use only. You may not use the app for any commercial purpose, resell access, or use it on behalf of a third party without explicit written permission.

4. No Guarantee of Score Outcomes

OceanQuest SAT is a study tool intended to support your preparation. We make no guarantee of any specific SAT score outcome. Results depend on many factors beyond the app, including individual effort, test-day conditions, and other preparation activities.

5. Fair Use & Account Termination

You agree to use OceanQuest SAT honestly and fairly. The following may result in immediate account suspension or termination:

• Cheating on the leaderboard (e.g., exploiting bugs to inflate scores)
• Creating multiple accounts to manipulate standings
• Any abuse of the app, other users, or platform infrastructure
• Any other conduct we determine to be harmful or dishonest

6. Intellectual Property

All content in OceanQuest SAT — including questions, explanations, graphics, and design — is the property of OceanQuest SAT or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the app without prior written permission.

7. Optional Emails

Study reminder emails and weekly parent/guardian progress report emails are strictly opt-in. You must explicitly enable them in Settings (and, for parent reports, provide a parent email and confirm consent) before any such email is sent. You can turn them off at any time in Settings or via the one-click unsubscribe link in any email.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

OceanQuest SAT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free, or free of inaccuracies. Use the app at your own discretion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
